This Duke Reid production comes on the very cusp of the transition from Rock Steady to Reggae, the vocals are sung in pure Rock Steady form, while the faster backing beat has the characteristic chopping guitar Reggae style. This combination could be found on many records, from various producers, for a brief time. Duke Reid released a top instrumental version , a couple of years latter with the Sensations not quite mixed out.
