This was the girls: Sandra Peoples, Margie Clarke, Carrie Mingo And Grace Ruffin, first release under the name of The Jewels, they had been known as The Impalas with their first record on Checker 999 For The Love Of Mike, and The Four Jewels, plus a one off backing as Jimmy "D" & The "D"-Lites, with Jimmy "D", before releasing the above on Dimension 1034. They did two more 45s for Dimension and one for Federal, which was produced by James Brown, who they also backed in concerts for a time.
