Call me old fashioned but I like to think the words to this song have real value, trouble is I took little notice of them for too long! This was the last record from The fantastic Velvelettes originally released on VIP 25034 in the US it was switched to Soul 3025 in August 1966, and put out two months later on the catch all Tamla Motown imprint in the UK. The Girls final appearance on wax though was on Jr Walker's Live album the following year, then, sadly, The Velvelettes were no more.
