Bouna Sera  (literally translated, is: 'good evening')  had just one meagre week at number 25 on the British charts in 1958, though in my opinion it was a better record than some of those that made it to the number one slot that same year like: Side Saddle by Russ Conway or Travellin' Light by Cliff Richard (the third). Many people might be familiar with Louis Prima's voice as  King Louie the Orang-utan in Disney's The Jungle Book singing the memorable number I Wanna Be Like You

N.B. Buona Sera was also recorded by the Trinidadian born trumpeter and singer Billy Mo and released in, the then, West Germany with a picture cover. (see below)
