LONELY DRIFTER * LOUIS DYER * LITTLE STAR * UNKNOWN
Lonely Drifter was much sought after record in the 1960s by the O'Jays, then this obscure version was discovered and it became the sought after record, but, unlike the O'Jays who's was a hit on a major independent, Louis Dyer's version was on Little Star a small label owned by producer H. B. Barnum (who produced both versions) and, in reality, there was never going to be enough originals to satisfy demand so . . . we have the above bootleg issue manufactured somewhere in Europe.
