NO PITY * JACKIE WILSON * BRUNSWICK 55280 * USA
Jackie Wilson enjoyed a long and prolific recording career with Brunswick from his first release Reet Petite # 55024 in 1957 up until his tragic death in 1975, with something like sixty official solo releases for the label. No Pity (In The Naked City) a deep Soul ballad with a strong social comment, comes just before he was re-discovered by many Soul fans in the UK with three biggies: Whispers, Higher And Higher, and Since You Showed Me How To Be Happy.
