Running Back And Forth, the B side to Time, was recorded in 1969 but released on Gordy 7097 in January in the US and on January 23rd in the UK, to be exact; though, to me, the sound distinctly belongs to the 1960s.
It is another musically up-tempo cut with a lyrically painful and heart achingly sad center about the loss or unavailability of love, that haunts some of Edwin Starr's finest earlier recordings like: Stop Her On Sight and Agent Double-O-Soul
