Since I Don't Have You was previously recorded by The Skyliners in 1959; it was to be the last in a long line of Soul scorchers from the man Chuck Jackson. Released on Wand 169 in the USA, shortly after its release he teamed up fellow Wand recording artist Maxine Brown and scored with Something You Got.
