CHILDHOOD SWEETHEART * CHUCK BERRY * CHESS 1737 * USA

Released as the B side to Broken Arrow - his follow up to the successful Memphis Tennessee - the feel of Childhood Sweetheart is something of a  throwback to an earlier period, a Bluesy  rocker - similar to Joe Turner's TV Mama. Chuck Berry singing about his favourite subject: teenage romance, with some of his familiar motifs like the: wee wee hours, school and young girls.
