Cyril Davies - harmonica/vocals, Long John Baldry - vocals, Bernie Watson - guitar, Cliff Barton - bass guitar, Carlo Little - drums. Country Line Special was the highlight of their live gigs, and an obvious choice for the A side of their first record. They recorded four songs for Pye who did them the honour of releasing their records on the Pye International R&B series label, alongside such legendry Blues artists as Muddy Waters, The Howlin' Wolf and Sonny Boy Williamson.
