This side gives us a early mention of the 'Rude Boys', who, for the most part, were disaffected and lawless Jamaican youth living in and around the ghettoes of Kingston. Today all sorts of people call themselves Rude Boys (and some Rude Girls) from the English suburban middle classes to the 'Gay Rude Boys'.
