According to Phyllis Dillion, in an interview with Jim Dooley, this is her first record, written by herself, and made for Duke Reid in 1965, although it wasn't issued in Jamaica until the following year, which, if it's not a second version, makes it a very early, fully formed, example of the Rock Steady sound.
