MOONLIGHT LOVER * JOYA LANDIS * TROJAN 641 * UK

An exemplary Rock Steady sound from Duke Reid's Treasure Isle studio. This gentle, yet dark, song was very popular with the Skinheads in the late 1960s, and it was cuts like this that gave the Trojan label such a strong bond with their persona.

NB. If the record pictured below is anything to go by it seems that Trojan flirted with the idea of 'demo's'! Although I have had this record in my collection since the 1970s I have no way of verifying the authenticity of the stamped 'A', weather it was an official Trojan stamp or put there by some previous owner or DJ.
