Possibly due to his commitments abroad, Prince Buster was not always fully connected to developments at home and never had the impact on the Rock Steady sound as many of his contemporaries. That's not to say he did not release some boss Rock Steady cuts, the above being the living proof, which is not only a class Rock Steady but the seminal rhythm became the source of many latter Reggae cuts.
