When this track was cut things were moving towards their dénoûment with John Holt as lead singer of the Paragons, and Rock Steady, as the predominate rhythm. For just over eighteen months the irresistible force that was Rock Steady had entered the hearts and soul's of the nations music lovers, at dances, bars, and in their homes. The many songs sung to this moving Rock Steady beat that gave expression to the joys, hopes, fears and troubles, of the people of the West Indies were soon to be remaining only as a memory, as what was to become, on the face of it, a more aggressive more determined sound.
