THE TRAIN IS COMING * KEN BOOTH * ISLAND 3020 * UK

Another 'train' song, the train being a popular motif throughout the Ska, Rock Steady and Reggae period in Jamaica. The Train Is Coming is a Coxsone Dodd production released on the Supreme label JA, in the song Ken Booth sings of a train coming that will transport him, and latterly another, away to a land where he/they/they all can "roam and be free". Though where this land is is uncertain.
