Basil Gabbidon was one of the earliest vocalist to record for Coxsone Dodd with You Said It in 1959, he also sang with Lloyd Robinson as one half of the duo The Mellowlarks in the same year, and as a M/F duo with Jeanne in 1960 all for Dodd. The above track bears a reference to Little Richard's Good Golly Miss Molly in the title, but not in the song, was a Prince Buster production.
