MAN FROM MI5 * THE UPSETTERS * UPSETTER 310 * UK
In the vocal introduction to this classy, and very musical, instrumental, Lee Perry casts an official of the United Kingdom's counter-intelligence and security agency, commonly known as MI5 (Military Intelligence, Section 5), in a dark light by referring to him as "a dangerous man". Unless, like many Reggae songs from the time, it was based on a TV program or film it suggests an interesting story as to why Lee Perry should chose to draw attention to one of these agents, in whatever light.
