TEN TO TWELVE * LEE PERRY AND THE UPSETTERS * UPSETTER 303 * UK

The rhythm is from Moonlight Bay ("We were sailing along on Moonlight Bay . . . .")  a song written in 1912 by Edward Madden with music by Percy Weinrich - Madden also wrote By The Light Of The Silvery Moon. Curiously, as Lee Perry announces, in his spoken introduction, that it is: "Ten to twelve, the bewitching hour" , we hear the crowing of a cock! something I always thought happened at dawn; perhaps the cock in this particular song has some other significance.
