Herbert Splifington first showed-up on Punch 14 this is his return - incidentally putting 'ington' on the ends of words, to casually disguise them from busybody cloth ears that might be near by, was popular with the chaps around the early 1970s. The Return Of Herbert Splifington has a Spaghetti Western style voice-over delivering a soliloquy, with specific reference to the black man and black culture, on the Young Gifted And Black rhythm.
