The Version of Keith Poppin's Time Is Slipping Away, this classy Dub has just enough off the vocals, spaced out, to lift a good song and rhythm into a memorable one. It is the very abstract nature of the music heightened by such bald and profound lines like "Time is slipping away" seeming to come out of nowhere and then disappearing, sometimes without trace and other times fading in an extended and transcendental echo, apropos of only itself and the music, that, for me, makes Dub a highly original contribution to 20th century music.
