O LORD * ERROL DUNKLEY AND THE IMPACT ALL STARS * EXPLOSION 2053 * GB
It is odd that this V. Chin (Chin Randy's) production did not appear on the Randy's label in England, as it was running at the time this was issued. Another of Chin's labels was Impact, which would have been the imprint for this in Jamaica. The song, seems to me, a genuine heart felt plea from Errol to his God to help him to stop fighting, lying and criticizing, and I can't help thinking that as the lyrics are so personal that they would have been his own, surprising then that it's Chin who gets the credit on the label, and not him. Not long after this record was made Errol teamed up with another singer, Gregory Isaacs, to form the African Museum label, in an attempt to gain financial control and intellectual copyright, on their labors.
