SCROOGE * LITTLE ROY * CAMEL 43 * UK

Produced by Lloyd Daley Scrooge is another early example from Little Roy (aka Earl Lowe) of what was to become the Roots / Conscious sound of the 1970s and 80s in Reggae music. Although I am not certain what the song is all about, other than the death of 'Scrooge', it has, none the less, all the elements of  a class Reggae cut, with a mellow bass line and good vocals from Little Roy.
