HOW CAN I GO ON * LARRY MARSHALL * STUDIO 1 * JA
Fitzroy Marshall a. k. a. Larry Marshall, first recorded Too Young To Love for Philip Yap's Top Deck label in 1962, the following year he cut Please Stay for Coxsone Dodd. After some more recording for Yapp, and Prince Buster, Larry Marshall returned to Studio 1 in 1968 where he recorded some excellent sides with Alvin Leslie as the duo Larry and Alvin and some fine solo compositions like the above; a suffer's song with its hook taken from the Drifters recording On Broadway. How Can I Go On was an original Studio 1 release though the above is a latter re-press.
