SHE'LL BE SORRY * GLORIA GAYNOR * JOCIDA 300 * USA
A native of Newark, New Jersey, Gloria Gaynor, born Gloria Fowles, sang with The Soul Satisfiers, who had a Gospel release on Sharp 641, before cutting her debut record the slightly Latinate She'll Be Sorry for the Jocida imprint.
Jocida was one of the Johnny Nash stable of imprints: Joda, Jad, Jocida, Jomada; there were, it seems, only three releases on the Jocida label She'll Be Sorry being the first.
