Alton Ellis seems to be claiming to have written this song, but I think you'll find that, as every one knows, it was The Delfonics. Still it's a top version though from Alton Neamiah Ellis, with backing from the Flames, who were originally a trio that included his brother Leslie. Supersonics is a lesser known Duke Reid Jamaican imprint.
