I Love You Madly was originally released by The Fantastic Four on the Soul label # 35052 in 1968, this is none the less a great, if slightly faster, version that has a lot of oomph. The same cut was also issued as There Is Something About You credited to Lloyd Charmers (who did produce it) on Explosion with two different labels; and both the Punch and Explosion issues were released as B sides! It is likely that producers like Lloyd Charmers changed the titles and placed copyright songs on B sides as a way of avoiding copyright issues (something that is becoming evermore present as an oppressive mechanism of power as 'knowledge' 'information' and 'creativity' become the material for the production of capital) yet this simple device of altering the titles or a word here and there in the song to mask its true nature would no longer suffice in the poly-observational climate of today.
