Oscar Toney and Joe Simon (odd that they both had first names as second names) each had a version of this song out in the same year, I seem to remember that this was the first but I don't know for sure. They are equally good and I would be hard pressed to say which version I prefer, rather letting them rise to the top of the stack of their own accord. Oscar Tony Jr never had anything like the amount of records issued in Great Britain under his name for the same period as Joe Simon only ten singles and one album from 1967 - 1975.
