One of the most well known songs of Tamla Motown from the 1960s, released in October 1966 in the UK Reach Out I'll Be There came at a time when radio in Britain was playing popular music throughout the day allowing this magnificent cut to be the sound track to many a household chore, car journey, and of course a night out. It was recorded in one take and became an international hit reaching #1 in the UK and topping the Billboard hot 100 in the USA for two weeks.
