TRAVELIN' BLUES * CHARLES BROWN * MODERN MUSIC 131 * USA

Strictly speaking this should be on the groups page as it is a record by Johnny Moore's There Blazers: Johnny Moore (guitar), Charles Brown (piano) and Eddie Williams (bass fiddle), but I can't help thinking of it as a Charles Brown track. He was a classically trained pianist who also took a degree in chemistry but when he moved from his home town in Texas to Los Angeles in 1943 and hooked up with Johnny Moore he was to have a profound influence on  the sound of Blues music, and consequently all popular music.
