GONE IS YESTERDAY * HIGGS & WILSON * RIO 29 * UK

Joe Higgs and Roy Wilson were a famous duo in the early 1960s and recorded prolifically for many producers, scoring hit after hit, in the pre Ska and Ska period, Roy Wilson left Jamaica to settle in the USA the same year as this was recorded. The above is a song, sung in a very upbeat manner, which states that the singers love was only temporary, and has passed with no more significance than the passing of the days. It could have been a King Edwards production.
