NINETY NINE * SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON * CHESS 6001 * UK

On this self penned Blues which seems to be about failure, or to be precise profound regret at not quite hitting the target, Sonny Boy Williamson sings and plays - as they say- a mean harp, he is accompanied by Robert Lockwood Jr. and Luther tucker on guitars, Willie Dixon on bass, Fred Below on drums and Otis Spann on piano. It was originally released in the US on Checker 883 as the B side to Born Blind and issued n the UK in 1965 on this EP along with Keep It To Yourself, Help Me and Your Funeral My Trial.
