JAVA * AUGUSTUS PABLO * IMPACT * JA
Horace Swaby a.k.a. Augustus Pablo, died May 1999 age just 45, but left a legacy of an abundant and original contribution to music. Java, recorded for his old school friend Clive Chin, was the record that launched him into the public spotlight. It is a fascinating blend of Eastern and Western sounds, sounding both romantic (exotic) and hard.
