Although this record is given the title Fire Escape by some sources, it is a very different cut to the Fire Escape I have (see below); Dalki gives it the title Too Much Fire, although credits it to Freddy McKay, but I'm guessing it must be Count Ossie. It's a great - early style - Dub cut; and, apart from the beautiful horns and blissful bongo drumming, what I think is especially good about this recording is the wailing that can still be heard from the incomplete wiping of the vocal track! It's often unintentional things like this that can produce exceptional results.
