Rule The Nation is a claim that U Roy (a.k.a. Ewart Beckford) could have had a genuine right to as at the time he was number one deejay riding the crest of the new Deejays first wave of on the record recordings, and with the absolutely stellar Rock Steady recordings of Duke Reid's Treasure Isle back catalogue to toast over he could not be beaten. On Rule The Nation he is cutting it over The Techniques Love Is Not A Gamble and although U Roy's toast is not his most inventive, it is none the less such a top rhythm he still turns in a hot platter; Dennis Alcapone also toasted over Love Is Not A Gamble.
