No, too late.
The artist Marcel Duchamp gave the title 'In advance of a broken arm' to a snow shovel he once exhibited. This could simply have meant; that by using the tool to clear away the snow, one reduced the chances of slipping on ice, and possibly braking an arm. In which case the moral being 'Duty now for the future'.
