I Said I Was Sorry is a class mid paced Soul song from the late great Solomon Burke, that has elements of his Apollo recordings while still being stylistically recognisable as one of his majestic early sixties Atlantic recordings.
Not released as a single in the UK it was his sixth release on Atlantic (#2170) in the US, as the B side to Go On Back To Him.
