The Isley Brothers went from strength to strength while with Motown, their signing for Berry Gordy marked a new stage in his fast growing corporation, it meant that he no longer had to rely on nurturing unknown talent but could attract and sign acts that already had hits. Written and produced by Tamla's phenomenal song writing talents Holland, Dozier and Holland and released in the US in June 1966 the double sided hit I Guess I'll always Love You was the groups third Tamla release.
