Written by Smokey Robinson and Pete Moore and released in the US on Tamla 54113 March 1965 and the same month in the UK Ooo Baby Baby, a pleading lament beautifully sung by Smokey Robinson with excellent backing harmonies from the other members of the group, was a welcome return to the type of Soulful ballad that they had last released as an A side with The Man In You on Tamla 54092.
