Originally recorded by The Temptations on Gordy 7105 this cover version by Dave Barker and Lloyd Charmers, a.k.a. Lloyd Tyrell, was produced by Lloyd Tyrell and released on his own Splash label JA. During this time both Dave Barker and Lloyd Charmers, as keyboard player in the Hippy Boys and Upsetters, were working with Lee Perry so it is possible that old Pipe-cock Jackson himself may have had something to do with the production.
