NOBODY BUT ME * THE ISLEY BROTHERS * STATESIDE 218 * UK

An dynamic up-tempo dance cut with the obligatory boasting found on many a dance related dance record; released in the US on Wand 131, Nobody But Me / I'm Lughing To Keep From Crying was the groups fifth of six for the label.  At the time of it's release both sides of this record were played in the Mecca dance halls and other places where Mods would gather, because for Mod's, in and around  London at least, The Isley Brothers were still hot property mostly due to their earlier records Shout, Tango and  Twist And Shout.

N.B. This is not the same song as The Drifters Nobody But Me
