THE WAY OF WAR * JOE HIGGS * SIOUX 014 * UK

Produced by Harry J and released on his Roosevelt  label JA, with a haunting organ riff and a very apt sounding military style trumpet mixed way to low, The Wave Of War is something of a dirge from Joe Higgs, the song itself is a pessimistic lament contrasting the life of those who live by the sword with his life living with his god, though whether it is an allegorical or literal war he sings of is hard to tell.
