Horace Swaby, a. k. a. Augustus Pablo, with a tribute to the trombonist Don Drummond; both musicians died tragically young. Augustus Pablo's musical instrument of choice was the melodica, that, until his bringing it into prominence, was more commonly used as a teaching aid for the piano (Augustus Pablo also played piano on his early recordings). The melodica is something of a hybrid, being both a wind and a percussion instrument, which puts into perspective the two artists, Don Drummond and Jackie Mittoo, that Augustus Pablo sites as being an influence on his playing
