The Gaylads were formed, in the early sixties, by B. B. Seaton, Delano Stewart and Maurice Roberts, and recorded the hit Lady With The Red Dress On for Coxsone Dodd in 1966. B. B. Seaton the founding member of the group is one of Jamaica's foremost song writing talents, who's name is behind untold familiar songs, from pre Ska, Shuffle days to Reggae.

This Time I Won't Hurt You is a sweet fast paced Early Reggae song, it was first released in the UK in 1970 as the B side to That's What Love Will Do on Trojan 7738, then again in 1971, also as a B side on Summit (see below).
