Released in November 1957 this was Sam Cooke's second release for Art Rupe's Specialty imprint, his first for the label was under the pseudonym 'Dale Cooke'. The song is a conventional self penned ballad with backing chorus, that is lifted from the ordinary by the delicacy and sweetness of Sam Cooke's voice.
