A hit in Jamaica for Augusts Pablo when he was riding a wave of well deserved popularity on the back of his 'Far East' sound, exemplified by Java that he had recorded for his old school mate Clive Chin earlier the same year. Lover's Mood was one of a handful that he recorded for Clive Chin's uncle Leonard Chin, released on his Santic label.
