Self penned and self produced Lively Up Yourself was first recorded in 1971 and released in this version on 45, for obvious reasons it was a favorite of The Wailers as an opening to their live performances. It gained international recognition after as a quite different recording with some lyrical changes when it was released as the opening track on the 1974 Natty Dread LP.
